Pikachu

This glossy Pikachu brings imagery from the Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap onto a Pokémon card. Released in 1999 inside the first issue of Pokémon Card Trainers magazine, it came on a sheet readers could peel it from. The same issue promoted the Pokémon Snap photo contest and offered photography tips, connecting the promo directly to the game’s invitation to capture Pokémon through a camera.
