Dark Espeon

Dark Espeon was illustrated by Atsuko Nishida, who also designed Espeon itself—a darker interpretation drawn by the Pokémon’s original creator. It joins Dark Vaporeon, Dark Jolteon, and Dark Flareon in giving Eevee’s evolutions the Dark Pokémon treatment, while Umbreon received no equivalent card. Its Psysplash attack punishes an opponent’s preparations, dealing more damage to each opposing Pokémon as the number of Energy cards attached to it increases.
