Pikachu Illustrator

Pikachu Illustrator was awarded to winners of CoroCoro Comic illustration contests held in 1997 and 1998 rather than sold in packs. Atsuko Nishida’s Pikachu-with-paintbrush artwork, the ‘ILLUSTRATOR’ heading, pen-shaped rarity mark, and certificate-style text make this printing structurally unlike normal Trainer or Pokémon cards.
