Queen Guinevere

Queen Guinevere is one of Elvira Shakirova’s 11 gold-foiled Gilded cards, all styled as pages from a medieval illuminated manuscript. In the connected composition, Queen Guinevere looks toward Sir Lancelot instead of the Holy Grail, encoding their forbidden romance into the artwork.
